Friends, this book is seriously titled, “Will My Cat Eat My Eyeballs?  Big Questions from TIny Mortals About Death.” I’m pretty sure I freaked out at my desk and may have even screamed a bit.  This cover is sinister and proves my point that cats are always plotting to kill you.

Caitlin Doughty is a licensed mortician who compiled her favorite questions from kids about death, dying, and what happens to dead bodies.  Full of mindblowing facts and plenty of dark humor, this book will be a delight to anyone, of any age, who is interested in what happens after death.  

If you’ve ever wondered why you can’t keep your mom’s skull on your mantel, be buried with your hamster, or what happens to an astronaut who died in space, this is definitely the book for you.  I found it fascinating and incredibly well written and I spent half the book being completely grossed out and the other half laughing.
